Cell reception and wi-fi are available in the office area *During the season we are open 7 days a week, except closed for Christmas Day 25th December *Do come and visit us and "pick your own" cherries on Klondyke Farm. Several varieties are available depending on the time of the season. You are welcome to spend the day here and picnic or braai in the shade of the pine trees. Enjoy a really fun outing with family and friends. Remember to wear closed shoes and bring a warm top or jacket with you as the wind can be cold up here, even in summer *HOW IT WORKS *There is an entry fee per person, children 1-5 years have free entry *We will provide some containers for you to pick into. You may bring your own, but do have it weighed before you go picking *You walk up to the orchard where you can pick your own cherries from the trees *When you return we will weigh your containers with the fruit you have picked *You will pay a per kg charge *We have credit card facilities, but no cheques, please * Spring Blossom *Springtime is beautiful on the farm *The orchards are a showcase of fragile blossoms. The pear blossom is a delicate white flower, apples are kissed with pink, and the cherry blossom grows prolifically in large bunches *Snow *Winters get very cold on the farm and are often white with snow. Sometimes the snow is just a dusting on top of the Matroosberg mountains, but at other times the snow lies quite thick on the farm. The snow typically falls from July to September. Visitors love to stay on the farm in winter and build snowmen
